Little River hugs the banks of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway, so boating, fishing, jet-skiing and all types of nautical activities are enjoyed by residents and visitors to the area.

Little River has two marinas (there were four, but one was purchased by the Big M Casino and the other was annexed over to North Myrtle Beach across the waterway when developers from out of state purchased the property):
